trg madness

i feel... imba.
haha why the hell am i speaking like that. goodness my arms feel like they're in a world of their own, detached from my shoulders. dont even dare to lift my arms overhead for fear that they might drop off. no thanks to being pumped sixty ytd. and crap, my waist is sore like... crap. never felt my torso throughly worked out to this extent before. was telling cm as we paddled our 2nd km that my upper body was burning. almost couldnt take it lahh, resistance was killer, even warmup was so tiring that i really dint wanna paddle anymore. (like why oh why am i doing this to myself) plus the sun, ohhmyyyy. totally saps energy. i miss my cap! ahhh there was a point i was so drained and wasnt thinking properly that anyone who called out jiayou or anything along that line got me darn peeved. okay lahh things could have been worse, at least the lanes werent crowded tdy and the waters wasnt choppy. and i know my partner's fighting the fatigue with me. when the gruelling trg ended, the coach happily decided to hop into backseat and paddle with the half-dying frontman. yayy. but i find it qte a positive experience, (saying it's an honour sounds kinda weird) a once in a lifetime opportunity lahh, considering... hmmm i rmb soph & mel complaining abt how freakish it was to paddle with the old man. haha anw as we were doing our prog these couple of days i was subconsciously filled with pride watching the juniors paddling alongside us. everyone has come such a long way together.. though frustrations abt one's performance can get overwhelming, this thing called team spirit, is pretty darn amazing.

recalling eighteen months back, i never imagined myself to be at where i am today. it's down to a matter of weeks now. deep down i hope.. we snrs have inspired our juniors in some way, just like how our snrs inspired us last yr.
GO HCANOE GIRLS!

tdy i was observing these are the sounds that fill the house and makes it a home. in the living room, mum squabbling with my sister and nagging at the maid simultaneously; upstairs, the noise from my bro's computer game could be heard thru his half-closed door; peace and quiet in my room, last but not the least, dad humming a tune as he tends to his plants in the roof garden. this is wad a typical lazy sunday shd be like.

on a different note, i really hate goodbyes. where's the "good" in them anyway? good riddance is alright, seems logical. i've always found it awkward to bring myself to say goodbye, whether it's over the phone or face-to-face, which explains why i tend to make them hasty. i guess it depends on the person, naturally i dont face a problem with my mum but.. at the end of the day, i really hate goodbyes, i really do.

dreadfully, there's one coming up.

=l

baby there's something about you that i can hold on to
